Chris Coppola, MD, LTC, was deployed twice to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, assigned to the 332nd Air Force Theater Hospital in Balad, Iraq, where many of his patients were seriously wounded children. He has conducted medical missions in Haiti, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the Amazon, and serves on the only global Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) team in the world, traveling to remote parts of the world to rescue babies in need of emergency respiratory care. He is currently a pediatric surgeon in Danville, PA, working for Geisinger Health System in Janet Weis Children’s Hospital. His articles have been published in many prestigious medical journals.

Arthur Janov, PhD, is one of the world's leading psychologists and author of eleven books, including the international bestseller, The Primal Scream. He is the founder and director of the Primal Center in Santa Monica, California, and has been elected to the Academic Hall of Fame of Claremont Graduate School. Early in his career he was on the staff of the psychiatric department at Los Angeles Children's Hospital, where he was involved in developing their psychosomatic unit. He and his wife, France D. Janov, co-director at the Primal Center, have lectured worldwide on primal theory and primal therapy, including at the Royal College of Medicine, in London, England; Hunter College, in New York; and the Karolinska Medical and Research Center, in Stockholm, Sweden.
