NTI Upstream’s production company specializes in creating instructional videos, educational films, and socially informed documentaries that serve the interests of children and families. Our ability to seamlessly blend various types of media such as software, animation, and HD and Flash video, using advanced editing techniques, enables us to create state-of-the-art learning tools for professionals, corporations, and film enthusiasts alike.

Our writing and editing are done here at our Chicago location by a talented, highly creative production team. Though paired with numerous educational and independent video distributors such as Follett, Quality Books, and Passion River, we conduct the majority of our educational distribution in-house, creating a vibrant, vertically integrated system that allows us to manage a production from its infancy in pre-production to its release into the general market.

In the past, we’ve produced several public service announcements and educational films directed at health care prevention. Our most recent documentary production, Renaissance Village, has won numerous awards and was featured as part of the Congressional Subcommittee Hearing titled, “Public Sales of Hurricane Katria/Rita FEMA Trailers: Are They Safe or Environmental Time Bombs?” Read director Gabe Chasnoff’s Congressional testimony here and learn more about how Renaissance Village is shaping public policy and changing how the U.S. government does business.
